COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Corpus Christi - 2001:
partnered with the Family Outreach Organization to present a special program for teenage moms and their children. Provided free books and a complimentary photo session. Also partnered with the YWCA, sponsoring activity rooms, a library and motivational speakers, including female Navy and Coast Guard personnel in uniform and university basketball players.

Chartered in 1983, the Corpus Christi Chapter Executive Women International has demonstrated a successful track record of bringing together our city's top firms and allowing their representatives the opportunity to meet, network and develop.

The Corpus Christi Chapter is unique to our city and the value of membership is beyond measure. EWI focuses on the relationship with the firm as a member. This association not only allows for personal and professional development of the women who represent the firm, it also enhances firm-to-firm relationship and benefits.

The local chapter is part of a larger, international organization that has been a leader in business networking for more than 70 years. The benefits of EWI membership include a global connection to business professionals around the world, opportunities for career development, and a commitment to community through scholarships for non-traditional students facing economic, social or physical challenges and Reading Rally programs to promote literacy.
